Taste of Soil: Laurelwood Soil Wines with Ruby, Tri Frigeli, and Tuenge Vineyards

Our vineyard has the privilege of being planted in one of Oregon's rarest soils, Laurelwood, which was officially classified in 1974. Vines planted in Laurelwood soil, a loess soil deposited over ancient basalt throughout the last glacial period, tend to produce more savory, elegant, and complex wines. In 2016 we made three wines exclusively showcasing Laurelwood soil, two of which the public has never tasted before. If you enjoy Ruby's Laurelwood Blend Pinot Noir, you're in for a treat with our single vineyard, Laurelwood soil wines, Tre Figli Vineyard Pinot Noir and Tuenge Vineyard Pinot Noir.

All day Saturday and Sunday, March 30th and 31st we will be sampling and selling our three Laurelwood soil wines: 2016 Laurelwood Blend Pinot Noir, 2016 Tre Figli Vineyard Pinot Noir, and2016 Tuenge Vineyard Pinot Noir. Stop in between 12PM - 2PM for a chance to meet the vineyard owners (and neighbors) Dave Musso of Tre Figli and Dick Tuenge of Tuenge Vineyards.

Tre Figli Vineyard Pinot Noir and Tuenge Vineyard Pinot Noir are limited production wines and are normally only available for purchase for wine club members, except for this weekend! We will also be offering special deals on Laurelwood soil three packs in the tasting room and online.
